Air Cooled Chiller called air cooled type water chiller, air cooling water chiller, air cooling water machine. The cooling capacity can be selected from 6KW to 150KW, It will be suggested adopt screw compressor water chiller when cooling capacity more than 150KW. The max different is the way of heat radiation by fans with water cooled chiller. In injection molding, we usually control the mold at a fixed temperature by making coolant continuously flow through the mold. If the coolant flow is not enough, or the coolant temperature is not as expected, the mold temperature won’t be able to keep at the designated temperature.
There are three main interrelated systems: refrigerant circulation system, water circulation system, electrical control system.
Evaporator – water or air enters the chiller system. Through the use of refrigerant, it is transformed into a low-pressure gas.
Compressor – takes low-pressure gas and compresses it to a higher pressure, which in turn allows it to flow through to the next step, the condenser.
Condenser – the high-pressure gas is cooled by refrigerant, whereby it converts back to low-pressure liquid form.
Expansion Valve – the liquid returns to the expansion valve and is directed back to the evaporator, and the cycle is repeated.
The Programmable PID Controller with a diagnostic display continuously monitoring and displaying high and low pressure, pump flow, set-point temperature, process return temperature, process supply temperature.
